Grado by Night – Watercolor and Ink
I think this painting represents quite well the mood of the summer evenings in Grado, Italy. Grado is a wonderful small town on an island in the Adriatic sea, between Venice and Trieste. The old town is so characteristic. Originally inhabited by fishermen, it is now mainly a touristic destination for people from northern Italy, Austria, Germany, Hungary and other countries.
I have done this drawing on a A3 format Watercolour paper by Canson (300gr). I have used some fineliners, my wonderful fude pen and watercolours, of course.

This is the San Giusto Cathedral, the main church in Trieste, Italy. Here I wanted to represent it in a light, pleasant and a bit cartoony way.
I have used watercolours, a fountain pen, a fineliner and some ink here and there. The original drawing is in A4 format on Canson watercolor paper 300 gr.

This is an historical building in Trieste, with a very unique architecture. Of course, the vegetables on the roof are just there to satisfy my surrealistic fantasy;-)

As the Corona Virus is spreading across all countries in the world, I wanted to share a poster I have drawn about … hemm…. prevention and against racism.
Why Prevention? Well, the idea behind this poster is to force people thinking twice before taking actions of any type. As we are discovering together the force of this new virus, we need to take all necessary precautions: we do not know for sure where it can hide. Think twice before you fart!
Why Racism? Most of us have heard of the black guy that has been killed by the policeman in the United States. “I can’t breath!!” are heavy words that must force us to think twice or more times before doing anything which is potentially dangerous. We are not all the same but we are all equals!
